Big week back in the office.

On Monday we had a remarkable day.

Good news after good news landed.

âś… New clients signing.

🏆 Clients having huge wins.

🤝 Big new hires made.

🔥 Junior team members delivering outstanding work.

It was a real boost.

That’s NOT how the last few months have felt.

If I’m honest… they have felt like a slog.

Lots of stress.

Many moments where it felt like things weren’t going our way.

BUT it’s solidified a great lesson in me.

Success often comes as a result of working hard on the right things for a long period of time… often without seeing any result.

Your ability to keep going…

…and going…

..and going…

…without the positive feedback loop is half the battle.

But…when the moments DO come around and you have a win…

…you’ve got to celebrate it. 🏆

In my case, I did with this beautiful piece of grass-fed ribeye…

And then get straight back to work.

If you generate leads, this one thing could completely transform your business…

An Appointment Setter.

Someone whose entire purpose is to contact every lead as soon as they enter the system.

Like, literally within 5-10 minutes.

They have two objectives:

  1. Qualify the lead

  2. If qualified… book them in for an appointments with a sales rep

The act of calling a lead within 10 minutes is an almighty lever in driving sales…

…and we’ve learnt it’s near impossible to achieve this unless you have someone dedicated to achieving exactly that.

I’ve been looking at some numbers recently and the impact has been blowing my mind.

Campaign with NO Appointment Setter

100 leads → 12 Appointments → 4 sales

Campaign with Appointment Setter

100 leads → 25 Appointments → 9 sales

Same campaign. Same ad spend. 125% more sales.

A bonus is that it acts as an instant feedback loop for your marketing campaign.

Because if no one is picking up…

Or when the do, they’re the wrong sort of person (i.e. not qualified)…

…then you know your constraint is lead quality and you need to tweak your ad campaigns.

Obviously hiring someone to do this is not easy and requires time/effort/resource… but it is relatively straightforward.

But if your campaigns have flatlined…

Or you’re struggling to turn a profit…

Or scaling is proving difficult…

It *might* just be the piece of the puzzle you are missing.
