The Hyper Growth Blueprint.

Welcome back folks šŸ«”

This weekā€™s Hyper Growth Blueprint covers:

  • šŸ† Know anyone looking for an Paid Internship?

  • šŸ— Why I travelled 144 miles for a Sunday Lunch

  • šŸ“‰ Lessons learnt from bad dataā€¦ šŸ¤¬

  • šŸ¤– Mega-Prompt of the Week

Letā€™s goā€¦ šŸ‘‡

Greeting Entrepreneurs,

Before we dive into the good stuffā€¦ I have two very quick exciting things to shareā€¦

  1. Weā€™ve just launched our new 6-month Internship Programme.

Weā€™re looking for 2 interns to join our paid ads team.

They are paid roles (Ā£27k p.a) and ideal for anyone who wants to learn about the world of advertising & marketing.

If you know anyone that might be interested, all the details can be found here.

(Iā€™ll cover in a future episode the rationale behind this programme as it may be useful for anyone who hires entry level rolesā€¦ šŸ‘)

  1. Weā€™re partnering with Graf UK to attempt to row 344 miles in 24 hours starting tonight at 8pm.

Itā€™s being live streamed and is to raise money for Katherine House Hospice.

Details can be found here to follow along & donate if you are so inclined.

(Please let me know if you donate as I would like to send you something in the post to say thanks!)

Rightā€¦ into the good stuff we goā€¦ šŸ‘‡

There are two topics hot in my head this morningā€¦

The first was off the back of visiting the The Tap & Run pub in Upper Broughton last week.

I travelled 144 miles to go for a Sunday Lunch there and boy was it worth it.

The food was top drawā€¦ as you can see hereā€¦ šŸ‘‡

But what made the experience stand out was the level of service.

Every single team member played their role in creating an extremely enjoyable experience.

(Something I find increasingly rare in British hospitality!)

It was a reminder of the value of Client Servicing.

So I wanted to talk about that firstā€¦ šŸ‘‡

Jay Abraham taught me thereā€™s a distinct difference between ā€˜customersā€™ & ā€˜clientsā€™.

Customer = a person/business that buys a commodity

Client = a person/business who is under the protection of another

If you use the word customer thatā€™s fine, but still think of them as clients.

Being ā€œunder protectionā€ simply means that you donā€™t sell them to try and make the largest amount of profit in one goā€¦

It means you take the time to understand & appreciate exactly what it is they need.

Once you understand that needā€¦

ā€¦you can help lead them to their desired outcome - whether thatā€™s using your services or not.

For example, I normally speak to 10 or so businesses each month who want to grow their business & think we can help them.

Instead of saying yes to everyoneā€¦

ā€¦we have chat about the state of their business, their commercials, their targets for this yearā€¦

ā€¦and try and deduce what the real best course of action is.

Only about 25% of the time is our solution the right one.

Which means 75% of the time I help steer them in a different direction.

I have learnt itā€™s a powerful thing when you put peopleā€™s best interests above your own.

The second topic is accurate data.

As in the last few weeks we have a particular challenge with one client whoā€™s data sources areā€¦ wellā€¦ letā€™s just say sub-optimal šŸ˜…

We have worked with dozens of businesses over the last 3.5 years.

Some have had achieved meteoric success & growth.

Others it has been slower.

One of the biggest factors weā€™ve identified is that the ones that achieve explosive growth very quickly have very accurate business data.

This is because accurate data leads to two thingsā€¦

  1. Smart Decision Making

Itā€™s a huge handicap to be running a business without understanding whatā€™s actually happening on a weekly basis.

It shows you what is working wellā€¦

ā€¦and more importantly where the current constraint in your business is.

Every business is limited by its constraints.

Growth is achieved by identifying & removing them.

We create scorecards like this to track our clients businessesā€¦ šŸ‘‡

  1. Provides Fuel to the Algorithms

Ad platforms like Meta & Google rely on data as their fuel.

They need to see & understand what happens when someone clicks through an ad.

When someone buys your stuffā€¦

ā€¦they use this data to go and find more people who are similarly and likely to buy your stuff.

Itā€™s a virtuous cycle.

Itā€™s critical to have this set up properly BEFORE you run any ads.

Otherwise you kill your chances of success before youā€™ve even begun.

If youā€™re not sure how or have troubles with your ad tracking, hit reply, let me know and Iā€™ll see if we can helpā€¦ šŸ‘

Thatā€™s all for this week - I hope you found it useful.

Take it easy,

Elliott āœŒšŸ¼

P.S. Are we connected on Linked? We should beā€¦ find me here.

P.P.S. I open up 2 slots in my diary each week to chat to Hyper Growth Blueprint subscribers about their business.

(First come, first serveā€¦ and PLEASE do not share this link šŸ˜‡)

Mega-Prompt of the Week šŸ¤–

Master Decision Maker 2.0

In business we all have to. make tough decisions.

This prompt made an appearance 12 weeks agoā€¦ but since then I have been using & refining it a lot.

Use this prompt to get some help ā€œchewing the cudā€ on any challenges, problems or opportunities you might be facing.
