Last week we officially welcomed our 12th new hire of this year!

He is our new Videographer & Editor.

I had been on the fence about hiring our own in-house video person for a while…

But TWO things happened last week that helped me make my mind up…

  1. I revisited the Almanack of Naval Ravikant (for the third time)

In this book, Naval talks about the four types of leverage…

It was a timely reminder that I am NOT using Media nearly as much as I could be.

  1. I had a Quarterly Mastermind Meeting with one of our clients.

We’ve been working with them for 4 years. They are crushing it right now.

Doing circa £1m/month in the Online Education space.

We were mapping out growth plans for 2025.

The question I asked was:

“What would we need to do to make it effortless for us to hit all our targets next year?”

We have 8 separate conversion focused funnels in place for them already.

Whilst we could spend our time & effort optimising them to the max…

…it’s a much bigger opportunity to focus on filling them with educated prospects.

We can do that by quadrupling down on free valuable content.

So now I want to do that to my business too…

…and Denzel is the first piece of puzzle that’s going to help us do it.

One of the strategies I am super bullish on involves YouTube…

…so I’m going to share that with you today 👇

The BOTTERS. Hyper Educated Prospect
YouTube Conversion Machine

This strategy is lethal for driving large volumes of high-quality leads…

I would go as far as saying they are the BEST quality leads out of all the funnels we build.

It works because this gets prospects to:

  1. Self-elect if they fit your Ideal Customer Profile (ICP)

  2. Consume long form content of you, showcasing you can help them by solving existing problems for them… before they even get a chance to ‘opt-in’

Here’s how it works…

  1. Create six 5-10 minute YouTube videos

  2. Create a simple lead magnet for each video

  3. Create your ‘Big Pillar Content’

  4. Have an Application Funnel & VSL

  5. Run YouTube In-feed Ads

  1. Create six 5-10 minute YouTube videos.

These videos MUST solve the most painful specific problems your customers have.

Emphasis on SPECIFIC… because people will only watch these videos if they choose to click on them.

So we need the topic & title to ONLY appeal to your ICP.

For example in my business…

Problem: Struggling to scale ad spend on Google profitably past £10k/month

Video: The 7 Ways we Scale Google Ads past £10k/month in spend profitably

  1. Create a simple lead magnet for each video

This should be valuable (duh) and specifically related to the topic of the video.

For example in my business…

Video: The 7 Ways we Scale Google Ads past £10k/month in spend profitably

Lead Magnet: Swipe File: Steal our Top 18 Google Ads Campaigns from £100m revenue generated

IMPORTANT: We then add a link to the lead magnet in the description of the YouTube Video.

Here’s an example…👇

  1. Create your Big Pillar Content (BPC)

Your BPC is the one piece of content you wish every prospect would consume before they speak to you.

The purpose of this is to show:

  • The problem your business solves

  • Your story

  • Proof you can solve it

  • Your unique mechanism

  • More proof

  • What to do next

It’s typically a 40-60 minute ‘webinar’ style video that will sit on YouTube channel completely ungated.

We don’t want this behind any opt-in walls… because we want as MANY people as possible to see it.

  1. Have an Application Funnel & VSL

Once people have seen the BPC… we want them to take the next step.

In the description of the BPC video we will have a link that will take people to an Application Funnel.

This is just a simple page with a short 5-10 minute Video Sales Letter (VSL).

These are sooooo good when you get them right.

I will do a whole newsletter just on these soon.

  1. Run YouTube In-Feed Ads

These are the secret weapon.

This type of YouTube Ad makes your video appear in the search results & recommended video slots.

Which means you only pay if people CHOOSE to click and watch at least 30s of your video.

This means if you get your Title & Problems correct… you should start to get a high-quality stream of your Ideal Customers pouring through to your channel.

The economics of this is just beautiful as well, with a typical ‘view’ costing around £0.04.

You start to stack up an insane amount of views for £50/week…

…but what will surprise you is how many leads then come through.

The end result: We are seeing CHEAPER CPL’s that are significantly higher quality than Meta Ads right now…🤯
