I’m writing this live in the studio with our friends at Entrepreneurs Circle recording the ā€˜Google Ads Accelerator’.

Google Ads is a HUGE results driver for our private agency clients.

Here’s what you need to know to be successful with them in 2025…

First we need to start with thisā€¦šŸ‘‡

The best google ads in the world WON’T work if…

  • They go to a bad landing page.

  • You’ve got bad follow up.

  • You have a weak offer.

Fix these 3 things FIRST.

Only then will you be able to profit significantly with Google Ads.

Once you’ve got those things dialled in…

…then you MUST make sure your conversion tracking is set up properly.

This will make or break your campaigns.

Let me tell you a story from last week…

We noticed one of our campaigns was performing really badly.

It had driven 2 booked calls in 30 days… super slow.

We investigated & found the scheduler had updated, and the tracking had broken.

So NO conversions were being sent back to Google.

We fixed it… and relaunched the campaign going to this fresh new conversion event.

The result…?

It drove 10 CALLS in the next 3 days.

A 500% increase…

And the only change was fixing the conversion tracking.

That’s because proper tracking enables Google’s Algorithm to do several things for you…

The almighty algo’ works by analysing a gazillion data points & then predicting the best time & place to show your ad to maximise the probability of someone converting.

No conversion tracking = no help from the algo.

Where it gets craaaazy is the amount of data Google has on us… 😬

Google's machine learning models process over 70 distinct real-time data-points…

  1. User Behavior Data

    • Cross-device browsing patterns

    • Search query history

    • YouTube viewing behavior

    • Mobile app usage

  2. Contextual Signals

    • Geographic location (including sub-city level)

    • Local time and day of week

    • Device specifications

    • Browser/OS combinations

  3. Ad Performance Metrics

    • Historical CTR across ad variations

    • Conversion rate by device type

    • Landing page load speed

    • Video completion rates

  4. Market Dynamics

    • Competitor bid density

    • Seasonal demand fluctuations

    • Real-time inventory availability

And a bunch more…

Now just imagine the power of the AI models they have crunching this data, thousands of times per second, continuously in their mega-data centres…

Yeah, I want that working FOR me… not against me šŸ˜…

Finally, my favourite place to gain an edge with Google is with Ad Copy.

Here’s the 7-step framework we use to create Killer Google Ads Copy…

  2. Focus on BENEFITS (not just features…)

  3. Say what only YOU can say

  4. Tap into their Emotions

  5. Have ONE clear CTA

  6. Offer a Guarantee

  7. Drown them in Proof
