Where I think the world is going…
At Entrepreneurs Circle, we just had our Q3 planning meeting this last week.
12 key leaders all locked in a room for 10 hours straight… able to leave when we had accomplished the goal: Getting clear on our plans for the rest of this year… as well as 2027/28.

These meetings always provide a stimuli for me to do some thinking beforehand.
So the week before I sat down to think about where I think the world is going.
You see in order to strategise effectively, I think it’s important to think about the future and how the world is changing so that the decisions we make don’t just serve the short-term, but set us up for success in the long-term too.
I distilled my thoughts into 5 key factors that I shared with the team on the day.
So I thought I’d share them with you as well… 👇
AI has made Advice accessible & free. Only IP will survive.
What survives information abundance is the opposite.
Opinionated, proven, specific ways of doing things.
Frameworks with evidence behind them.
A distinct point of view that a robot trained on everyone cannot hold.
Implication: Creating and codifying IP is key.
The most “Human” Business wins.
As everyone outsources their thinking and their content to AI, everything starts to sound the same.
In that world, attention flows to whatever is unmistakably human.
This is why the EC Brand Engine matters strategically (Podcast/YouTube/Social etc), as well as our in-person events.
Implication: Human Brand become the moat. Everything becomes easier - and more secure - the bigger the EC Brand.
AI stops being a chatbot.
AI chatbots were the first wave.
The coming wave is action.
AI tools that actually DO the DO.
Agentic AI’s that get stuff done.
Implication: We know we need to embrace AI to survive… but we need to skate to where the puck is going.
Attention is the scarcest asset.
Every product, project and initiative we add feeds on the same finite pool of founder and leadership attention, and it never shows up as a cost on the plan.
In this exciting new world of possibilities (driven by AI) there are more distractions than ever before.
Implication: I believe we should make fewer, bigger bets. Every new initiative should name what it displaces.
Trust becomes the whole game.
Put the four together and the next decade looks like this:
Infinite free information
Infinite fake content
AI that can do anything for anyone.
In that world the only real question a business owner has left is "who do I trust to tell me what is right for me?"
How do you think the future is going to change?
