I hope you had a banger of a festive period and are feeling suitably refreshed and raring to go.
I spent Christmas & New Years in Mauritius eating & drinking to my heart’s content.
It was glorious.
And I am now primed and ready to crush 2026.

It wasn’t all sipping Pinã Coladas and sunbathing…
As with any holiday I seized the opportunity of having a new and colorful background to film a bunch of ads…👇

I got a bit creative with the hooks as you can probably tell… 😅
This was because we had TWO big campaigns set to go live on Boxing Day (26th Dec).
We do this every year because the cost of advertising on Meta typically falls off a cliff after Christmas.
Plus the majority of people are sat at home…
…spending a lot of time on their devices in between eating the leftovers and watching their kids enjoy their new presents.
We saw our CPM drop by literally 37% on Boxing day…

Which actually led to our Cost Per Lead drop by over 50%!
All for understanding how the market was going to move and being prepared to take advantage of it.
On Monday we had our first Leadership team meeting of the year and one key thing came up…
Make Every Day Count.
Now on the surface that’s like… DUH.
But how often do we actually live by that?
I mean look at how fast 2025 passed by.
2026 is going to go even faster.
(Google ”Time Acceleration Phenomenon” if you don’t believe me…)
And if we don’t proactively seize the day… next thing you know the day is gone.
Then the week.
Then the month.
Then the year.
I for one am going to ‘balls to wall’ this year to make damn sure every single day counts.
I’ve got a plan
I’m committed to staying focused
I’m ready to say ‘No’ to the inevitable shiny objects and distractions
I’m not going to take a day for granted
